What is MOMentum?
CedarCreek MOMentum is a group for moms in every season of motherhood based at CedarCreek church in Northwest Ohio. We meet the first and third Thursdays of the month from September through May. Our meetings focus on topics directed to the hearts of moms: parenting, practical skills for home and life, and spiritual development (to find out what we believe click here).
Our group is open to moms with children of all ages whether or not you attend CedarCreek Church. We’ll talk about God in a way that won’t make you feel uncomfortable or awkward no matter where you are in your walk with God.
At MOMentum we believe moms are better in community. That’s why hundreds of moms have already gotten connected to a local meeting. Whether you are married or single, working or stay at home, have young kids or have teenagers, you are welcome at MOMentum. And you won’t be the only one.

What can I expect at a meeting?
MOMentum meetings begin with a time of connecting followed by content to encourage and support moms at all stages. We then have discussion time where each mom has an opportunity to apply the topic to their own experiences and really build a personal relationship with the moms at their table.
Each table is led by a table leader who provides guidance throughout the meeting and ongoing support in between meetings. In addition, support comes through mentor moms, someone who has been down the road, can see around the corner, and can offer valuable advice, help and prayer support. Throughout the MOMentum year you will sit with the same group of moms to really build your support system.
Can my kids come along?
We are happy to offer childcare for kids up to age 10. Please use the “with childcare” option when registering to ensure we have the right staffing to care for your children. All of our childcare workers have successfully passed a background check and interview.
What else do you do?
In between meetings we offer times for moms to connect outside the meetings. Some events include your children (like a trip to a pick blueberries) and some are designed just to help moms refuel (think progressive dinner through Levis Commons).
Is that it?
MOMentum moms serve each other by bringing meals at the birth of a child, death of a spouse or serious family illness.
We also bring meals to other moms in need and each year we select a program to support and assist that specifically helps moms in need.
