MOMentum Cancellation Guidelines and Policy
Please always check our MOMentum Facebook page and your email where you receive our e-newsletter before leaving for any event during the winter months.
Snow Emergency Guidelines and Policy:
- For AM meetings and events, if there is a Level 1 snow emergency or higher for the county of your campus location, we are cancelled at that campus location.
- For PM meetings or events, if there is a Level 1 snow emergency still at noon for the county your campus location is in, we are cancelled at that campus location. We will still communicate via email and Facebook when we are cancelled for this reason. If there is no snow emergency at noon, we hope to have our meeting; however if weather/road conditions deteriorate throughout the day, we may cancel. Please always check before leaving for a meeting if you have any question.

If there are no snow emergencies, but there are School Closings and/or Delays:
School Closings and Delays Guidelines and Policy:
- For AM meetings, if the school system for your campus location is closed, we are canceled at that campus location. (See below for school systems.) If that same school system is delayed, we are canceled at that campus location.

Perrysburg – Perrysburg City Schools
West Toledo – Toledo Public Schools
Whitehouse – Anthony Wayne Schools
- For PM meetings, school closings and delays may not cancel our meeting or event, weather permitting. All decisions to hold the PM meetings based on weather and road conditions will be made by noon to give time for communication.
Email and our MOMentum Facebook page are THE two ways we’ll communicate ANY changes and updates to meetings and special events. We will always send a campus-wide ministry email to the email provided when you registered (you should receive an e-newsletter throughout the year to this same email), and post continuous updates on our MOMentum Facebook page.
Please check your email AND our MOMentum Facebook page when there is questionable weather or if schools are delayed or closed for any updates or changes to our meetings or special events.
KidKare provides MOMentum the child care support to meet based on current registration numbers. Please keep in mind that at any time changes or updates are made to our schedule, they are only staffed to handle the number of registered children for MOMentum for the morning and evening meeting separately. If you decide to attend a meeting or event that you are typically not registered for, due to a cancellation of another meeting, please treat it as a Moms Night Out when it comes to the kiddos, meaning you leave the kids at home with a trusted caretaker.
Remember, no matter what, there will be situations where we have to make a judgment call based on what’s happening right then. Please check your email and our MOMentum Facebook page for any updates before leaving the house for a meeting or event during the winter months.
